Terms and Conditions
At Sonder Acting Studio we have strict expectations to ensure the quality of our training, and to create the most value for both students and instructors alike.
All classes at Sonder Acting Studio have a strict lockout policy
Classes will begin exactly on time.
Any students arriving late will not be admitted to class and will not receive a refund.
Actors are expected to be prepared to the best of their ability.
If an actor is not adequately prepared, they may forfeit their time on the floor.
Adequately prepared includes knowing all lines word perfect, completing their research for the role, and . substantiating and building their character to the best of their ability.

Actors are expected to demonstrate kindness and foster a supportive environment.

Harassment and abuse of any kind will not be tolerated, and will result in the harassing actor being immediately removed from class with no refund, and may be permanently banned from Sonder Acting Studio.

Actors will not be admitted in to a class/workshop without completing the necessary prerequisites.
​
If an instructor is unable to make a class/workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, a substitute teacher will teach in their place. If no substitute is available, a make up class will be scheduled at Sonder's discretion.
Refund Policy

Full Refunds may be granted up to 7 days before a workshop commencement date.

No refunds will be granted if an actor cancels within 7 days of a workshops start date.
However, if an actor needs to cancel within 7 days of a workshop commencing, that actor may be able to allocate their place in that workshop to another actor - provided their replacement has completed the necessary pre-requisites needed for that workshop. It is up to the cancelling actor to collect reimbursement from their replacement.
Where possible, if there is a wait list for a class, we will do our best to help you allocate your place.
Late Cancellation
If an actor cancels a private lesson within 24 hours of their confirmed time, they are liable to pay 50% of their lesson cost. This goes straight to the instructor and covers a portion of the instructors lost income.
